Michele Forde,

I'm passionate about my work as a therapist. I'm honest and direct with clients, and I encourage us to be open with each other. Therapy is a chance to slow down, get to know ourselves better, and be vulnerable and playful in ways we often don't have time for in our daily lives.

I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where anything and everything can be discussed. I know that trust and comfort take time, and I respect your pace and readiness to explore difficult topics. I'm also here to hold you accountable (compassionately) in order to promote growth and healing.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing on elements of Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. This helps me to tailor my approach to your individual needs and goals. Together, we can unlearn unhelpful or harmful patterns and beliefs, and create a more authentic life for yourself.

I have been a practicing therapist for almost 10 years, and I use a cognitive behavioral approach (CBT) in my work. I focus on understanding my clients' needs, tracking their progress, and helping them develop powerful solutions to their challenges. I believe in the importance of connecting thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and I work collaboratively with my clients to develop positive goals.

Barbara Thacker, LMSW

With over 30 years in the profession, I have had the incredible opportunity to work with a wide array of clientele. I have experience working with individuals along the fullness of life's continuum and have effectively served individuals from diverse backgrounds of personal experience, degree of functionality, and personal belief systems. I offer a safe space in which an individual is able to explore the fullness of life and the impact it is having on their overall emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being.

As a clinician, my clinical style is quite eclectic. I am skilled in a multitude of treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT, SFT, and Motivational Interviewing. I am adept at exploring together with my clients the impact of trauma and its effect on their personal narrative. Likewise, I am skilled at walking through the grief process together with those I serve so that they don't stagnate amidst life's transitions.

I offer treatment and guidance from a place of empowerment; my therapeutic approach is intentionally designed to offer a strength-based, Individualized approach to personal growth, wellness, and recovery.
